Pencil Propeller

Today we learn how to make a DIY toy.

This call Pencil Propeller.

This is a more high-tech version of a great toy.

Begin with a square of origami paper, white side up.

1: Cut the paper in half.

2: The next steps magnify one end of the paper.

3: Fold and unfold four separate folds about 1/2 inch(1cm) from the edges of the paper....

4: ....like this. The next step magnify a corner.

5: Make a short diagonal like this...

6:...simply by squeezing a corner between your thumb and first finger. Repeat at each corner.

7: This is the result. The corners don't have to be very neat.

8: Repeat with the other corners.

9: Take a pencil that includes an eraser in the top end. Then take a thumb tack or something similar and push it through the center of the paper into the eraser.

10: Hold as shown, and then walk briskly forward. The paper will begin to spin around on the end of the pencil! You can up the scale and use a large 2 x 1-foot rectangle of newspaper pinned to the end of a wooden broom handle... but you'll need to run fast to make it spin!

Done!

Rabbit

This is an easy way to draw a rabbit.

1: Draw a circle with a small bulge

2: Add on the small eyes, nose and mouth

3: Draw the long ears for the rabbit.

4: Then continue with the front legs

5: Continue with a round rump and cute tail

6: Finally, draw a few beards, it's a rabbit.

7: If you draw a carrot for the rabbit, the rabbit must feel happy.

Birthday Card

Today, let us learn how to make a special birthday card for friend. Some materials are needed, such as:

1.Black color paper

2.Grey color paper

3.Yellow color non-woven

4.White color non-woven

5.White color pencil

1: Cut a circle on the black color paper by using a circle cutter.

2: Draw the reflection line at the appropriate place by using white color pencil on the black color paper.

3: Use a scissors cut the egg white and the egg yolks on the non-woven respectively.

4: Paste the egg white and the egg yolks on the black color plate.

5: Use the grey color paper to cut off a knife and a fork. Then paste its on the plate too.

6: Lastly, you can write some birthday wishes on the birthday card for your friend.

Flapping Bird

There are a great many flapping birds in origami, designed by folder worldwide.

Let us learn how to do a flapping bird together.

Use a square of crisp paper.

1: Begin with a Waterbomb base. The final model has a fairly equal color ratio, so it never seems to matter which side of the paper face you to begin with.

2: There are two sharp points on each side of the Waterbomb base. Fold the top point only on the right-hand side across to the left.

3: Fold the lower horizontal edge up to lie on the upper-right sloping edge. Make a really firm crease.

4.:Unfold step 3.

5: Folding the single layer only, take hold of the uppermost point at the left, and make a repeat fold of step 3, using the same crease. As the flap comes to rest, you have to make a swivel-squash adjustment with excess paper between layers, so that the model will lie flat once more.

6: step 5 completed.

7: Turn the model over, and arrange it so that the crease made in step 3 rises from left to right.

8: Repeat step 5 on this side, folding the single point at the right up to lie on the upper left sloping edge, matching the two wings together, and making a similar swivel-squash adjustment to that in step 5.

9: Step 8 completed.

10: Make a valley fold in the left-hand point, so that the crease runs in line with the lower edge of the right-hand point.

11: Change the angle of the left-hand point, by making another valley fold at the tip. These last two steps form the neck and head respectively.

12: Open out steps 10-11.

13:Turn the model over, so that you are now looking at the underside of the bird. Open out the pocket between the folded-edged layers of each of the sharp points, and hold with the point that has the creases made in steps 10-11 facing away from you.
